What we do....
Over the years, the P&C has been able to provide funds to allow the school to purchase many valuable resources that support our children and enable them to prosper in their learning and development. To raise these funds, the P&C run various fundraising events including stalls, raffles, discos, BBQs, cake stalls, pie drives, and school fetes in 2013 and 2018.
Check out what the P&C has done in Supporting Our School in recent years.
How we operate...
P&C Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6.30pm in the school library. It is here that decisions are made about funding priorities, activities and operations for the year and the School Principal gives an update on school matters that concern the school community.
How you can help...
Everyone in the school community is welcome to join the P&C. We are thrilled to accept new members who bring an array of new ideas representing a vast cross-section of the school community. It doesn't matter how much or how little you have to offer, you can still make a valuable contribution to the future of EVPS.
Participating in the P&C is a great way to meet other parents, find out what's going on within the school and to provide input into the future of EVPS. Your support is greatly appreciated!
How to join the P&C...
If you are interested in joining the P&C or assisting with any of our events, please come along to a meeting. Please know that P&C members are not expected to turn up to every meeting or assist with every activity.
To become a financial member, there is a $2 membership fee, which can be paid at P&C meetings or left in an envelope containing your name at the school office. Once paid, members are able to stand for positions at the AGM and/or vote at the following meeting and throughout the year. Paid membership commences at the following meeting and voting rights begin at your second meeting.
